Oaklands can provide access to digital cameras for groups during courses.
Visiting staff are normally given the cameras out and about on activity to take as many photos as possible (although they often have their hands full looking after the group!), provided we’ve had consent to take photos of those attending the course. We cannot guarantee we’ll get good quality photos of all those who participate in each course.
At the end of the course the photos are passed onto the visiting groups leader, and provided we’ve had consent we will publish a selection on our website. Some may also be used (again provided we have consent) on some of our other publications.
Any photos put on our website are checked, normally picked, by visiting staff before publishing. We normally select group photos which hopefully paint a picture of the activities and achievements of course participants. Before publishing the photos we reduce the image quality so they look good on a screen but cannot be used for other purposes.
We’d like to leave the photos up on our website so future groups from your school/youth group can have a look at what the previous group got up to.
If however you’d like us to remove any photos we’d be happy to do so. All we’d need is some details from you and a description of the photo. Please use the form below to help us locate and remove it.
