Day one. A nice fresh hike! All groups went out today on a walk with their new group leader.
Day 2: A selection of photographs from day 2 of our trip to the Oaklands Centre. Red group went underground, visiting Rhiw Bach Slate Quarry. Green group went canoing and gorge walking on LakeGeirionydd. While Blue group had a fun time mountain climbing and abseiling off Conway Mountain.
Day 3: Wednesday arrived and not much of a change in the weather; a little bit drizzly (but no wind). Red group went off to Lake Geirionydd for a canoe and gorge walk. Both Green and Blue groups went deep underground for a bit of mine exploration at Rhiw Bach Slate Quarry. All children had a fantastic time and are ready for tea!
Day 4: Thursday 7th November – A visit from the Head, Mr Forber. Blue Group had a fantastic day out canoing and gorge walking on Lake Geirionydd, slipping and sliding down the natural water made ravines. Red Group took a trip to Llanberis to climb alongside Lake Padarn following a morning scrambling and bouldering as practice. Green Group took the mini-bus down to the coast, to Conwy Mountain to try their hand at mountain climbing. Roast chicken for tea! One night left![Not a valid template]
