We are reknowned for our flexible, needs-led approach, and our staff ability to relate to young people.
We offer a whole range of tailored experience for groups, whether it is part of an on going project or to cover a specific issue in the youth work curriculum. Many youth groups come for weekend stays whilst others come for day visits spread over a period of time to enhance work undertaken back at their base.
We are also able to work at your base in some circumstances, either as a one off or part of a longer programme.
We work with a wide variety of groups from youth offending programmes to scouts and guides.
Princes Trust Volunteers
We have been running PTV residentials since 1993 and work closely with the teams to produce successful teambuilding experiences for all. We have some fantastic venues at our disposal and the local area is probably the best in the country for these courses. Matching all this with our staff’s experience of running PTV courses makes a great formula. Contact us to discuss your programme needs.
D Of E
We can act as supervisors or assessors for your expeditions, both on foot or by boat. We also run Gold Residentials based here at the Centre.

We are an approved provider of the John Muir Award.
We are able to provide the programme to any organisation interested.
The John Muir Award encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to discover, enjoy and conserve the planet’s wild places, through a structured yet adaptable scheme.
